The major orchestras of the swing era, which have occupied the stage of the great ballrooms of cities like New York the entire decade of ’20, gave relief to a new generation of small clubs where live music and not stop dancing until the wee hours of the morning. Musicians as renowned as Lester Young, Big Joe Turner, Mary Lou Williams, Coleman Hawkins, Count Basie merged together in a city that is ready to change the course of the last century’s most influential music, the jazz.
The project has a strong rhythm section of four musicians, an elegant section of 3 winds and a female voice that seek to offer a very styilish live and a homage to these great figures of style. A night where music and dancing hopefully never stops.
