Makuriya was born in Sierra Leone, descent and raised between Spain and the UK. She started dancing contemporary dances at school and later continued to develop with the coupe decale, azonto, and afro-house, until developing with everything that includes Afro-Fusion.

She has travelled the world sharing her passion and giving workshops throughout Europe (Spain, Germany, Norway, Portugal, London and many more). You can find her in the best-known stadiums in London like the O2 Arena, and Wembley Arena dancing for the best-known artists in the world of Afrobeat!
